How many lies will be brought forth in "The Arbitration"?

REEL SUM UP: Directed  by Niyi Akomolayan, "The Arbitration" features O.C Ukeje as Gbenga;  a corporate executive who gets involved in a steamy affair with a beautiful employee (Adesua Etomi). But after the affair is called off, Gbenga gets the shock of his life when his ex-lover accuses him of rape. An arbitration panel is then set up to investigate the matter.

Cast also includes Ireti Doyle, Beverly Naya and veteran actor, Sola Fosudo and expected to hit Nigerian cinemas on the 12th.

So...  three sides to a story? When a person is accused of such a thing,  the truth usually lies between the  accuser and the accused, at least until a  witness shows up. Office romances aren't uncommon but usually ill-advised and apparently the movie's main protagonist will realise that. What led his lover to make such a terrible accusation in the first place? Before we assume it's out of spite or revenge, let's not forget most movies have tools to make the viewers see and believe things that turn out not to be true after all.

Hence if it really happened like Gbenga said, an affair, all we'll be waiting for is when Dara finally confesses. If not, then maybe it would really be three sides to the story in question.

PHOTOS: Bolanle Austen-Peters' Stage Production Triumphs In London

The two-hour musical play Wakaa! The Musical written by Tunde Babalola and produced by Bolanle-Austen Peters was performed   at the Shaw Theatre in London, to a sell-out audience and earned rave reviews. Will Gompertz, the BBC Art Editor described the play as “soulful, colourful and dynamic” and having “a spirit and sensibility that is fresh and true”.

Conor Gaffey, Editor of 'Europe News Week',  added, “the show has heart, energy and a great sense of humor, and received a standing ovation on the final night when Newsweek was in attendance.”

'Wakaa! The Musical the first Nigerian musical to make it to London's West End- is centered on the trials and struggles of young people in present day Nigeria and in the diaspora. It was previously staged in Nigeria and lauded by the Nigerian audience, who also approved of a previous Austen-Peters production, 'Saro'.

With this, it's really evident that the Nigerian Theatre is rapidly recovering its past glory.

"The Little Prince" in 3D

The computer animated version of Antoine  de Saint-Exupery's classic tale, The Little Prince was released in the U.S yesterday, August 5, 2016;  earning  positive reviews and a hefty $97.6 million, thus making it the most successful French computer animated movie of all time.

One of the previous adaptations was the 1978 Japanese anime-The Adventures of The Little Prince, consisting of 39 episodes where the titular character travelled to different parts of Earth on a comet, meeting and making friends, hence not following the plot of the original novella. One episode however, showed him meeting with a French pilot stranded in the desert, the pilot being the French narrator of the series- based on the actual meeting of the narrator and the little prince  in the novella.

REEL SUM UP:  Weary of her overbearing mother's strict regime, a little girl finds comfort in her elderly neighbour, a retired aviator who tells her about "the little prince"; a mysterious young boy from B612 he met in the desert many years ago.

The movie was directed by Mark Osborne (Kungfu Panda, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie), produced by Dimitri Rassam; with the voice talents of Mackenzie Foy, Jeff Bridges, Rachel MacAdams, James Franco, Riley Osborne and Paul Rudd.
